The farther we get into the day the less focus I have.
Hocus pocus has intervened, replacing my focus.
At some point, I want to get back the focus.
For that, hocus pocus is not entirely out, of course, since it's the same neighborhood.
But hocus pocus is not the same as the focus. The focus exists before hocus pocus. Yet hocus pocus is right around the focus.
...Which is an amazing thing to say. But I chalk it up to the focus remaining playful, not abandoning hocus pocus entirely.
The short version of that story is that hocus pocus receives grace. The focus gives grace. Amazing indeed!
But you don't want to be lost in hocus pocus (as many are), because they don't see the focus, as is taught in non-hocus pocus wisdom.
